Let’s make

some memories.

There is unparalleled beauty in the chaos of family life, and documenting these moments is an act of love and reverence.

Family photography is not just about capturing smiles for a frame—it's about preserving the whirlwind of this stage of life, the tender chaos that defines your days. The little details, like the way your child's hand fits perfectly in yours, the laughter that echoes through your home, the bedtime stories and messy meal times—these are the fragments of everyday magic that shape your family's story.

I feel deeply connected to documenting families and find immense beauty in all the crazy little moments. By capturing these moments, we honor the fleeting nature of childhood and the profound love that ties you together. It’s about holding onto the essence of now, so that years from now, when the house is quieter, these photos will bring you back to the heartbeats and footsteps that filled your life with boundless joy.

My process for family sessions is all about collaboration and authenticity.

I love to work closely with families to create experiences that are true to their unique dynamics and joys. Whether we’re hanging out in your backyard, splashing in the pool, or playing in the park, my priority is to capture the genuine connections and relationships that make your family special. These fun and dynamic sessions allow me to document the real moments—the laughter, the love, and the beautiful chaos—that tell your family’s story.

Activity

An activity session can mean so many things! It’s a shoot that takes place outside of the home. The activity can be something as simple as running around the local park, or getting snow-cones together in the heat of the summer. I love to collaborate with each family and pick out the perfect adventure to do together that feels authentic to them and is going to make the most beautiful memories!

Seasonal examples:

Spring

Picnic in the park
Collecting wildflowers
Flying kites together

Summer

Poolside session
Snow-cones and ice cream
Family bikerides together

Fall

Pumpkin patch trip
Pumpkin carving
Fall hike amongst the foliage

Winter

Picking out a Christmas tree
Roasting marshmallows
Snow day fun

And if you don’t see something listed here that feels right - let’s dream up something magical that is the perfect fit for your family!

In-Home

In-home sessions are so great because it’s a great way to truly document your day-to-day life and moments with your kids. I love these because of how personal they are, and it’s a great way to keep your kids in a setting where they are comfortable! We can run around the backyard in the summer, splash around with the water-hose, and have a backyard picnic. And in the colder months, we can bake cookies in the kitchen, decorate the Christmas tree together, and pile up on the couch!

FAQ for Family Photos

  • I have a whole web page and Pinterest board I send over to my clients with suggestions and advice on what to wear! Ultimately I want everyone to be dressed in something they are comfortable in, but I do have suggestions on what to wear color wise that will photograph best, as well as how to mix and match colors and patterns so that the whole family looks cohesive.

  • If you know you want family photos, but aren’t sure what you want the shoot to look like - that is totally okay! This is the case for most of my family shoots, and I love to collaborate on a shoot idea that really represents you as a family. Some families want to keep it simple with photos in the park - and that is amazing! It is still a fun activity, and we can get epic photos from it. Some families want to plan a more specific activity (snow-cones, kite-flying, etc.) and I love that as well. So if you don’t know what you want, we’ll hop on a call and talk options and dream up something beautiful!

  • I know photos can feel really stressful for parents but I’m here to put your mind at ease. I’m around kids all the time - and I’ve seen it all! It doesn’t phase me - and it’s totally okay! If your kid is crying, or needs to take a break for a minute, we can focus on any other kids/parents while they take a breath! We can slow down, walk around for a bit, whatever they need. And a lot of times, that becomes part of the shoot. I really encourage parents to not stress too much about kids being picture-perfect and on their best behavior. Truthfully, the best photos come from when we let them have their fun and get a little wild!

  • My minimum photo delivery is 150 photos - but the final number ranges depending on the session length and activity!

  • Photo galleries are typically delivered around 2 weeks out from the shoot date! This can definitely vary depending on the season and how long my editing queue is - but you can typically expect to receive your gallery around 2 weeks from your shoot, and no later than 3 weeks!

It’s the little moments.
