A-Frame Cabin Elopement
I wanted to explore the idea of what an outdoors-based elopement would look like in Dallas, TX. When I think of the kind of elopement I would want - Texas doesn’t typically come to mind. The venues here are usually barns or fancy mansion-like buildings. But a quick search on Airbnb and I found this beautiful A-Frame cabin about an hour away from Dallas! It’s a beautiful navy blue and surrounded by trees. I immediately knew I wanted to shoot there, so I called up Michael and Sarah and asked if they would be down for a fun elopement styled shoot! Our aim was to show that you don’t have to travel to the pacific northwest for a woodsy and fun elopement.
It rained all day, but by the time we were ready to shoot - it cleared up! Michael & Sarah got married a couple of years ago, but we kept talking about how they felt like an elopement would have been more their style than a traditional wedding. We had SO much fun collaborating on this shoot together - and I’m super excited to show off this little Texas cabin!

Mark & Jenna are two friends who have been running their wedding photography and videography business together for the past four years.
