Black Sand Beach - Iceland | Adventure Session

Iceland has to be the coolest place we have ever been. Exploring the black sand beaches, glacier lagoons, and volcanic rock formations was the adventure of a lifetime. I’m so lucky that I always get to travel with a couple - Mark and Kinslie are the best, and always game to model for me when we are in epic locations! Photographing people in beautiful places is genuinely my favorite thing, and these pictures are some of my favorite I’ve ever taken!

We spent about a week in Iceland (read more about our trip here) and the black sand beaches were one of the highlights of the trip! We couldn’t believe how beautiful and wild it was - the waves were crazy huge, and we had so much fun running from them and listening to the sounds they made as they crashed on the shore. Growing up, Iceland was not on my radar as a potential vacation - but when Mark had the opportunity to do a wedding workshop in Iceland, I’m so happy we all decided to tag along! Iceland is now top of our list of places that we want to go back to - so fingers crossed we find our way back there soon!
