Brainard Lake Engagements | Colorado

Kaitlyn found us through her cousin - Allie. Back in June, we had the amazing opportunity to capture Allie’s wedding to James and it is one of my favorite memories of the whole year! So you  best believe we were stoked when Kaitlyn reached out to capture her wedding to Kyle! Their wedding is in May of 2022 - but I was able to journey up to Colorado and capture their engagements and it has to be one of my favorite sessions I’ve done. 

We found this EPIC spot by a lake where we had the most beautiful green and yellow trees. They brought their dog Koa and we splashed around on the shore, and then headed to another lake for blue hour. We made probably a million comments about how pretty the place was and we got to watch the sunset over the most blueeeee mountains. But the best part was the company! Kyle & Kaitlyn showed up with the perfect attitudes, and even brought me drinks and snacks. Something super small, but went such a long way. After we were done I called Mark to tell him how excited I am to do their wedding. Really great people, the best night, and some dang beautiful pictures!
