A shoot just for the heck of it.

I had an idea in my head, and knew I wanted to set up a fun shoot just so I could play around. The best kind of shoot in my opinion - no money exchanging hands, just experimenting, getting creative, and having fun! I know I wanted to hang up a sheet get a little artsy - and Kenzie & Chad were down for whatever I threw at them!

This was such a different shoot than I normally do - instead of switching up poses and directing them heavily - I took it slow. I sat them down, and kept my direction to a minimum and just let them be together naturally. And it was a game changer! I was so stoked with how natural and easy the shoot felt, and so glad that I decided to make this idea come to life.

It changed the way I shoot forever - and if I had any advice at all for photographers - it is to set up shoots for yourself! Challenge yourself, and let yourself be creative without the pressure of typical engagements. You won’t regret it.

Mark & Jenna are two friends who have been running their wedding photography and videography business together for the past four years. We are based in Dallas, Texas - but serve our couples worldwide as well as locally. Mark is the videographer here, and focuses his art on storytelling and creativity. Jenna is the photographer, bringing your wedding to life with true-to-color edits and documentary-style storytelling.

We have been friends since 2013, and there is nothing more important to us than our community. We have built our business around the idea that fostering good relationships is the most important thing in life, and weddings are a beautiful way to celebrate those relationships.
