Minimalist Couples Session | Leigh & Michael

I met Leigh in Alaska, last year at the Wild & Unwritten workshop and we connected instantly because we are both from Texas! She lives in Austin, and I’m in the Dallas area - but not too far apart. Alaska was epic - both agreed it was one of the best trips of our lives! And I’ve been so stoked to keep in touch with Leigh ever since. We took a trip to Moab together last year, and whenever she is in Dallas, it’s always fun to see her! This summer, she was working in the DFW area and her boyfriend was visiting. I had this idea for a summer-y, film inspired shoot and she and Michael graciously agreed to be my couple! 

We met in a simple park in front of some trees and had the best time just hanging out and taking pictures. They are the CUTEST freaking couple - and made my job so easy because they were just so naturally good in front of the camera. It was my first time meeting Michael, and it felt like we had known each other for a while. These two are something special and the pictures came out so wonderfully!
