North Cascades Adventure Session | Sara & Sean

Last year I had the honor of working with my favorite photographer of all time - Marcella Laine. I did a mentorship with her last October and learned SO much. Marci is incredibly talented, and also just a really great person. I got to shoot with her again this year and we had the most incredible adventure in the North Cascades. I think Washington has got to be my favorite state of all time. I fall more in love with it every time I visit, and this time was no different. I stayed in Bellingham, and am convinced I will live there someday!

Marci had an epic shoot planned - we met up with Sara & Sean and drove up a super rocky road to the trailhead. I had no idea what the final view was going to look like, but Marci assured me it would be epic. We hiked up together, stopping to take photos along the way, and then made it to the top of the mountain just in time for sunset. When I say the view was amazing - it feels like I’m underselling it. 360 views - the best hike I’ve ever done - and one of the best views I’ve ever had. We all knew it was such a special moment, and stayed up there taking photos, sitting, and just soaking in the sunset. We hiked down in the dark - and I don’t think I’ll ever forget this day and this adventure. One of the most memorable moments of 2021 - for sure!
