Instant friendship. I’m pretty proud to be able to say that so many of our clients have turned into friends. We love the people we work with and it’s great to keep in touch with them. But I’m not sure if we’ve ever had as fast of a friendship, as when we met Hailey & Will. These two don’t live in Texas, so when they booked us - we had to mainly connect through FaceTime. Which is great! Don’t get me wrong, we love FaceTime and how it allows us to connect with couples all over the world. But nothing beats sitting down in person for coffee, or grabbing dinner together. A month before their wedding, Hailey & Will were in town for some last minute wedding prep - and we were able to grab coffee together. We met up for about an hour and a half - and talked about the wedding for maaaaaybe 10 minutes. But we just had so much fun getting to know them. Mark & I left the meeting, and I immediately texted him - “I feel like we would be best friends with them.” We told Hailey & Will that, and they laughed - they had left the meeting saying the same thing to each other.

On their wedding day, we felt like family. The bridal party, their parents, grandparents, friends - all of them welcomed us into the fold and created the best environment. From getting ready, to the wedding exit - we had a BLAST! These people know how to party, let me tell you! Their ceremony was held at a nearby church, and the reception at the Stone Crest Venue here in McKinney. We’d never gotten to work with this venue before, and it was GORGEOUS! The reception room is huge, with beautiful windows, and the outside space is just as pretty, settled on top of a hill. I could go on and on about this couple and their wedding.
